Neville's Inner Vision
To the speaker, Psalms 76:1 speaks not of a distant history but of a remembered state of consciousness. In my inner Judah, the place of worship and alignment, God is known; His name is great in Israel, the inner nation that stands within me. God is not a far-off king but the I AM awareness that fills every chamber of mind and heart. When I claim that God is known in me, I am declaring that truth and faithfulness are the governors of my inner kingdom. The recognition of Presence dissolves fear, pride, and separation, leaving a quiet certainty that the kingdom of God is already established as I awaken to it. The verse invites me to revise any sense of estrangement and to worship not by ritual alone but by acknowledging the omnipresence that I am. The inner Israel, the people I become in moments of stillness, testifies to His greatness in every thought, word, and deed. By abiding as the I AM, I remember that the reputation of God rests not in places but in states of consciousness—where reverence becomes reality and reality becomes life.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, rest in the I AM, and assume, 'God is known in Judah within me; His name is great in Israel now.' Then feel that certainty as your present reality.
