Inner Promotion by the I AM

Psalms 75:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 75 in context

Scripture Focus

6For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
7But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
Psalms 75:6-7

Biblical Context

Promotion does not come from the east, west, or south. It comes from God, who judges and decides who rises.

Neville's Inner Vision

Such are the words that reveal a truth no outward empire can bestow. Promotion is not granted by east, west, or south; it is declared by the inner judge, the I AM that you are. When I realize that God is the ruler of my sense of worth, the page of my life rewrites itself to reflect that judgment. The verse speaks of putting down one and setting up another, but the real action is within: my present state calls forth corresponding conditions. So I stop looking to others for elevation and return to the only source—the divine I AM within. I revise every memory of limitation, I imagine myself already in the throne room of my desires, I feel the authority of a truth that cannot be shaken. As I persist in that feeling, the outer scene follows, because consciousness is the seed from which forms grow. Promotion becomes a natural expression of inner alignment, not a lottery won by chance.

Practice This Now

Assume 'I am promoted by the I AM within me' and feel it now. Visualize stepping through a doorway labeled Promotion into a scene where you are acknowledged, and let that inner certainty color every action today.
