Neville's Inner Vision
Every line is a verse in your inner cinema, where God is the I AM you awaken to. When the verse says, Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, it is your awareness giving thanks to itself for recognizing its near presence and wondrous works. The line, When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly, becomes: in the assembly of your thoughts, you judge uprightly by choosing truth over fear, thereby sustaining inner order. The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolved; I bear up the pillars of it suggests that shifting beliefs crumble, while the enduring support is the consciousness that remains. To the fools and the wicked you are told not to lift up the horn; see such thoughts as variations of self-doubt and refuse to give them power. Promotion cometh neither from the east, west, nor south; all ascent comes from alignment with the I AM within, not from outward circumstance. God is the judge; he putteth down one and setteth up another in you, as you decide what to exalt. The cup in the Lord’s hand, red and mixture, invites you to drink until the dregs of fear are drained. I will declare forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob within.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Stand in your inner court and declare, 'I am the I AM; I give thanks for near divine works, and I judge uprightly in the assembly of my thoughts.' Feel the lifting of what is true and the steadying of consciousness.
