Inner Signs and the I AM

Psalms 74:9-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 74 in context

Scripture Focus

9We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
10O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
11Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom.
Psalms 74:9-11

Biblical Context

The psalmist laments that signs and prophets are gone and asks how long the trial will endure. The people cry for God to intervene and be known again.

Neville's Inner Vision

In Neville's voice: The cry We see not our signs marks a moment when consciousness forgets its own I AM presence. The absence of a prophet and the sense that none among us knows the length of the struggle reflect a lack in awareness, not a cosmic delay. The adversary’s reproach and the enemy’s blasphemy are the mind’s old images surfacing to be reimagined. The withdrawal of God’s hand is the feeling of separation from the I AM—the belief that the living God is distant. Do not seek proof in a hostile world; rather claim that the divine signs are already yours and that God is truly active here and now. Imagination is the instrument by which you rewrite the scene. Assume peace, confidence, and protection as your present fact, and let your inner conviction become outer events. When fear cries How long, answer by dwelling in the notion that you are always attended by the I AM, and let the right hand of power be felt as available in this moment.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume I AM awake and guiding me now; feel the signs present in your life and rest in the assurance that God’s hand is active in this moment. Let the feeling of it is finished settle in your chest for a minute.
