The oppressed should not be ashamed, and the poor and needy should praise God's name.

Neville's Inner Vision

Oppression, in the Neville lens, is not a decree of God but a state of consciousness you have agreed with. The verse 74:21 says the oppressed must not return ashamed; that declaration is an invitation to awaken to the truth that your name—the I AM—is the only real identity. The 'poor and needy' are the parts of your mind that have perceived lack, yet they are summoned to praise the Name because praise is the vibration that makes the inner reality visible. When you assume the feeling of being known by God, you revoke the image of separation and invite the ruling presence of I AM to govern your life. I begin to repeat, 'I AM this, I AM that, I AM praised,' until the inner atmosphere shifts from fear to gratitude. In that inner act, the energy rearranges itself, transforming lack into supply, injustice into truth, and humiliation into reverence. The Name in me is the light that dispels appearances; by praising it, I align with the eternal reality that I am always whole, righteous, and redeemed. The oppressed return not ashamed but awake to their royal I AM.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly and assume the feeling that I AM is the only reality. Revise any sense of oppression by affirming 'I am not oppressed' and feel the inner praise arising within.
