Read Psalms 74 in context

Scripture Focus

2Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
Psalms 74:2

Biblical Context

The psalm asks God to remember the covenant community and the holy place of dwelling. In plain terms, it invites an inner recalling of the state and people already claimed by divine consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Remember thy congregation means you awaken to the truth that there is a gathered company in your inner life—the thoughts, feelings, and fulfilled desires you have invited into being through your imagination. 'Which thou hast purchased of old' declares these inner goods are yours by an ancient covenant of consciousness, already paid for and secure in your I AM. 'The rod of thine inheritance' is the authority you carry in your inner voice to govern appearances; you rule from the throne of awareness, not from external change. 'This mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt' is your present vantage point—the elevated state of consciousness where God, your I AM, dwells as now. See Zion as the feeling of truth lived, a city within where all good is received. The outward world answers to the inner sight you maintain. Your task is to remember and dwell in this state through steady assumption, revision when doubts arise, and feeling-it-real practice until the memory becomes your evident life. When you align with this inner covenant, remembrance becomes creation.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Close your eyes and imagine the mount Zion of your mind with your fulfilled desires gathered as a congregation. Feel the I AM presence now, assume it as your living reality, and rest there until the imagery and feeling merge into one.
