Inner Justice Psalm 72:4

Psalms 72:4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 72 in context

Scripture Focus

4He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
Psalms 72:4

Biblical Context

The verse describes a ruler who cares for the vulnerable, ensures their safety, and defeats oppression.

Neville's Inner Vision

I am the judge of the poor within me—those neglected parts crying for justice. I am the savior of the children of the needy—my tender desires seeking security are lifted by the confident presence of I AM. The oppressor within me is broken by the realization that I sit on the throne of awareness, not as a tyrant but as a custodian of truth. When I assume this royal state, I do not seek to control others but to align my entire consciousness with justice, mercy, and power. The inner decree of Psalm 72:4 becomes my method: I examine thoughts, release fear, and let sufficiency take hold. Deliverance is a present-tense experience, not a future hope; as I feel this rightful rule, the sense of lack dissolves and outer conditions bend to my consciousness. Thus the inner kingdom governs, and the outer world follows in reverent harmony.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state: 'I AM the ruler who judges with justice, saves the needy within, and breaks the oppressor.' Feel it real now, then carry that sense into the next moment.
