Biblical Context
A harvest appears on the mountaintops. The city will flourish like grass.
Neville's Inner Vision
On this psalm, the mountains stand for the higher states of consciousness you can enter. The handful of corn is a seed-thought planted in that elevated place. When you entertain the feeling of abundance as already yours, that seed takes root and begins to grow, producing fruit in your life. The fruit’s shaking like Lebanon is the energy and assurance that come with your conviction—strength, vitality, and steady supply. The line about those in the city flourishing suggests that when your inner climate is abundant, your outer world responds: people around you begin to prosper, projects ripen, opportunities appear as grass in spring. Do not seek supply outside; instead revise your inner assumption: I AM wealth, I AM well-being, I AM provided. Live from that awareness, and time, events, and circumstances will harmonize to reflect it. You are the mountain and the harvest; you are both the seed and the yield, and your inner climate becomes the life you witness.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, visualize a seed of corn planted on a mountain peak in your mind and watch it sprout into a full harvest. Then affirm 'I AM abundance now,' and feel the feeling of it as already yours for a few minutes.
