Biblical Context
The speaker vows to talk of righteousness all day. Those who seek to harm him are confounded.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the Psalm does not describe threats in the outer world, but the inner condition you assume about yourself. You are the I AM speaking through a mouth that is the instrument of your inner life. When you choose to dwell in the righteousness of God as your permanent state, the chatter of the world—those who would seek your hurt—becomes mere shadow thoughts that vanish in the light of your inner conviction. The 'they' are not people to battle but states of fear, doubt and separation that you have allowed or forgotten to withdraw from. Your tongue is a creative act, a continuous replay of your assumption. By talking righteousness all day you reaffirm your alignment with the divine order, and the outer scene shifts to echo that truth. The moment you permit yourself to be the righteousness that God placed within you, your perception shifts; your memory, relationships, and even conditions align with that inner reality. Keep returning to the I AM; your words will become living proof of your inherent worth and protection.
Practice This Now
Practice: Throughout the day, silently or aloud, repeat: 'I am the righteousness of God; my words are truth in action.' Then pause and feel the inner light of being as if your speech already has healed, protected, and redirected all things.
