Inner Truth Revealed

Psalms 69:5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 69 in context

Scripture Focus

5O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.
Psalms 69:5

Biblical Context

God knows my foolishness; nothing I do is hidden from Him. This invites honest self-awareness before the divine.

Neville's Inner Vision

Verse 69:5 invites you to see that God, the I AM within, already knows every inner movement of your life. Your “foolishness” is not a secret kept from God so much as a current state of consciousness you may illuminate and revise. When you acknowledge that nothing in you remains hidden from the divine awareness, you stop pretending to hide from truth and begin to use truth to liberate you. The I AM is not watching to punish; it is the absolute light by which you identify and reidentify yourself. The key is to accept the inner movement without judgment, then choose a wiser thought and feel it as real until it hardens into your lived experience. This is the Neville-style turning: you do not change external conditions; you change the inner state by assumption, feeling, and revision. Your sins, seen thus, become signals guiding you back to your true self, not garments to be stripped. Rest in the conviction that you are known, therefore you may know anew; your present belief can be replaced by the awareness of your higher self.

Practice This Now

Practice: Sit quietly, affirm, 'I am the I AM; I know my foolishness, and I am known by the I AM.' Then revise your inner state and feel that wiser self as real, until it becomes your living awareness.
