Inner Zion Inheritance Practice
Psalms 69:34-36 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Psalms 69 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage calls heaven, earth, and all that moves to praise God, promises Zion's salvation and dwelling, and asserts that the seed of servants and those who love His name will inherit and dwell in it.
Neville's Inner Vision
Where the words speak of heaven, earth, and Zion, realize they describe your inner landscape. The verse does not tell you what must happen somewhere out there; it tells you what you become when you awaken your I AM to its own constant praise. When you imagine Zion as a state of consciousness that God saves, you are not petitioning for an external city, you are restoring your center to be inhabited by the divine. The seed of his servants who shall inherit it are those faithful to love His name, meaning those who consistently attend to the reality that they are loved, named, and claimed by God within. As Zion is built in your inner world, your fear dissolves into courage, your lack becomes sufficiency, and your future is no longer distant but present as you dwell in the truth of your oneness with God. The verse invites you to see the world as praise already offered by your own awareness, and to live from that finished state here and now.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume you already inhabit Zion as a state of consciousness, and feel the atmosphere of praise filling you. Then revise any sense of lack by declaring 'I am the I AM, dwelling in the city built by love,' carrying that sensation with you throughout the day.
