Psalms 68:22-23

Biblical Context

Psalms 68:22-23 speaks of the Lord restoring His people and returning them from exile, so they may walk victoriously over their adversaries.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, the I AM speaks in this verse. The Lord saying, I will bring again from Bashan and from the depths of the sea, is the announcement of a return of your awareness to its rightful ground—the lofty heights of Bashan and the submerged fears of the sea are the two poles of your mind being drawn together by consciousness. The “foot dipped in the blood of thine enemies” and the “tongue of thy dogs in the same” are not a call to violence but a reversal of inner conflict: you transmute the energy once spent in resistance into a living proof of your dominion. Your thoughts, judgments, and hostile voices are brought into the light of I AM; they are washed, revised, and placed beneath your feet as you stand on the ground of your true self. This is the inner act of restoration: your kingdom reclaimed by the awakening, your life a demonstration of present-tense victory and divine presence.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, touch your chest, and declare, I AM returning to my throne now. Imagine stepping from the sea of fear onto the high ground of Bashan, feeling the victory as your awareness fully owns its kingdom.
