Biblical Context
Psalm 67:5 calls the people to praise God; in Neville's sense, praise is an inner state of consciousness that awakens the I AM within.
Neville's Inner Vision
Observe that 'the people' are the many states of consciousness dwelling within you. When you choose to praise, you do not petition the outer world; you awaken to the fact that God is present as the I AM consciousness, the one life that animates every thought and feeling. Praise is not for God to get something from you; it is you to realize you are God expressed. As you dwell in that recognition, the inner movements become harmonious; the dreamlike outer circumstances shift to reflect the light of your inner worship. The verse repeats the invitation—let all the people praise—so that every aspect of your being yields to gratitude; your mind, your body, your desires, your subconscious longs to bless and be blessed. When you enter the feeling of being already blessed, imagination becomes the instrument by which you 'make real' the presence you acknowledge. You are not asking God to do; you are awakening to your true status as I AM, and the world aligns to the form of that consciousness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the feeling: I AM the praise of God within me. Feel gratitude flood your chest and imagine a radiance expanding to bless every corner of your life.
