Psalms 65:9

Biblical Context

Psalm 65:9 speaks of God visiting the earth, watering it, and enriching it with the river of God, full of water, so that corn is prepared as provision is made.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this verse the earth is your inner state and the visit of God is the awakening of awareness within you. The watering is the steady influx of divine life through your consciousness, the river of God filling every rut and furrow with sustained juice and vitality. When you provide for it by holding a living end in mind—an end that you are already nourished and supplied—the soil yields corn, the harvest of your life. The enrichment is not from without but from your inner atmosphere, where belief, gratitude, and attention converge to attract form. The rain of grace dissolves doubt, making your mind fertile for manifestation. Remember, you are both the land and the water: the visitation and the river are your own I AM working as you. Trust this unity; cultivate the inner soil with a clear assumption and you will see outward abundance emerge as the natural fruit of your inner replenishment.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the end: I AM abundant and lovingly attended by the river of God. Stay with that felt sense for a few minutes, imagining the inner soil being watered until the sense of abundance feels real.
