Scripture Focus

1Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.
2O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.
3Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.
4Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.
5By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:
Psalms 65:1-5

Biblical Context

Praise arises from inner awareness; prayers are heard by the I AM. Sins are purged, and those drawn near dwell in the divine temple, fed by its holy goodness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Zion is the inner citadel of awareness, not a place you go but a state you assume. Praise waiteth for thee becomes the living assurance of the I AM that attends you. To thee shall the vow be performed means you pledge to inhabit a fixed state of consciousness and to live from that reality. O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come signals that every fragment of your self returns to the one within who hears; your petitions are heard by your own inner I AM. Iniquities prevail against me; as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away becomes the insight that faulty beliefs dissolve when you realize you are one with God. Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts denotes choosing the inner state and dwelling in its sanctuary, nourished by its abundance. By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us declares that steadfast mental acts answer with certainty. God of our salvation; confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea, is your eternal Self, the I AM that binds all. You are not waiting; you are becoming the reality of His blessed house.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes. Assume you are already dwelling in the inner courts of God, and say 'I am chosen to dwell in Your temple' until the feeling registers as real.
