Biblical Context
Psalm 64:7–10 portrays God as the source of justice who wounds the wicked and exposes their schemes. The wise will recognize God's doing, and the righteous will rejoice, trust, and glorify Him.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your life is a field of inner movements. The arrows are thoughts that shoot from your unspoken assumptions; when God (the I AM) lets them fly against the ego, they wound only the old self that believes itself separate. The moment you notice those tongues turning upon themselves—your condemning self-talk—see that they reveal the boundary you have allowed between your awareness and its creative power. In truth, all the visible drama is the operation of your inner state. When you align with the I AM, the 'fearful' scene dissolves; what remains is a glorious declaration: men will fear, not from threats, but from the awe of the living God within you as your consciousness. The righteous rejoice in the LORD because you have awakened to the fact that you create your world by your inward state. Glory arises as your heart rests in this Presence, and the outward judgments fall away, leaving you free to act from love and trust.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: In a quiet moment, repeat, 'I AM that I AM,' and assume you are the observer who has already witnessed the arrows dissolve; feel the trust of the righteous within, and regard the day ahead as glorious.
