5For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.
Psalms 61:5

Biblical Context

The psalm states that God hears vows and grants the heritage of those who fear Him.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within your inner world, God is the I AM that notices the vows you have laid upon the altar of your own heart. To vow is to decide, in consciousness, what you will accept as true. When you say, in effect, 'Thou hast heard my vows,' you are acknowledging that your assumption has been heard by the very life of your being. The heritage promised is not a distant reward, but an inner condition—an atmosphere of reverent fear, trust, and alignment with your divine nature. Those who fear thy name are those who honor the source within; their reverence is not worship of an outside deity but devotion to the I AM that you really are. As you persist in this alignment, your outward world begins to answer with the tangible forms of that inner state—provisions, stability, and a sense of rightful inheritance. Practice the feeling of already possessing this heritage, and you will see your life respond in kind.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare: 'I am inheriting the heritage of those who fear Thy name.' Then dwell in the feeling of that present possession, sensing gratitude, security, and reverent awe as if the vow is already fulfilled.
