Neville's Inner Vision

To the I AM within you, this psalm is a decree, not a map of places. God’s holiness is your own awareness shining on the inner landscape. When the verse says I will rejoice, it is a decision of consciousness, a state you hold regardless of outward appearances. Rejoicing is not an emotion you wait for; it is the condition of seeing from the end, of knowing that your imagination creates reality. The lines about dividing Shechem and mete out the valley of Succoth are not territorial claims on a nation, but commands to partition your inner terrain: to separate conflicting thoughts, to allot energy to faith, gratitude, and clarity, and to place each feeling in its rightful place. The act of dividing is the art of allocating attention to constructive, harmonizing centers within the self. So, say to yourself I AM speaking in holiness through me; I choose to arrange my inner cities with peace, joy, and truth. Your imagination becomes the mapmaker; your feelings become the builders; your I AM the governor who makes the decree real.

Practice This Now

Practice: sit, close your eyes, repeat the decree, and visualize a radiant map forming inside your chest where joy sits in place of fear.
