Mercy Within: Psalm 6
Psalms 6:4-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Psalm 6:4-10 pleads for the Lord to deliver the soul for mercy, noting that in death there is no remembrance or thanks. It speaks of weariness, tears, and the conviction that the Lord hears the cry and will vindicate.
Neville's Inner Vision
I read this psalm as a map of inner weather. The 'Return, O LORD, deliver my soul' becomes a call to awaken to the I AM within, where mercy is a settled presence rather than a distant rescue. Suffering is simply a belief in separation; when I imagine the Presence hearing my cry, the sense of death dissolves into a steady, living awareness. The enemies are not people but stale habits of fear that shrink the heart; by returning to the inner sanctuary and claiming that the Lord has heard me, I revise the scene until the whispered promise 'the LORD will receive my prayer' becomes a felt certainty. The practice is immediate: assume the state of deliverance now, let mercy permeate every thought, and feel the release as if tears and pain are being washed away by a flood of inner grace. In this inner revision lies the vindication: not a future event, but a present alignment with the I AM that never leaves.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state of delivery now. Breathe in the certainty 'The Lord has heard my cry' and let mercy fill every thought.
