Mercy Before Wrath: Inner Psalm
Psalms 59:10-13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
The Psalm focuses on mercy and divine protection, requesting God’s intervention against enemies and the recognition of God’s sovereignty.
Neville's Inner Vision
To these verses I say: The mercy God speaks is not mercy withheld, but the faculty of awareness that refuses to identify with fear and with the tyranny of opposing thoughts. The God of my mercy shall prevent me: the I AM that I am goes before me in the imagination, clearing the path, so I see my desire upon mine enemies—the obstacles become the stage on which my fulfilled wish appears. Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield. Do not annihilate the foe in your mind, but scatter the old beliefs by the wind of realized truth, lest you forget the power you carry. For the sin of their mouth ... let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak. Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah. This is the movement from fear to sovereignty within the inner kingdom; the enemies are inner obstacles dissolved by the conquering I AM, which you already are. Selah.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes. Assume the feeling of your wish fulfilled: the obstacle melts as you realize God’s ruling presence within. Then carry this assurance into your day, letting mercy lead and fear dissolve.
