Inner Judgment, Inner Peace
Psalms 58:6-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verses depict a divine judgment against evildoers as symbolic imagery, pointing to power outside history. In Neville's view, the real battle is within the consciousness you inhabit.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the I AM lens, these lines are not cries for distant punishment but instructions in inner sovereignty. The so-called foes—teeth broken, teeth of the lion, waters melting—are images of fears, impulses, and persistent thoughts that claim power over you. When you imagine God breaking their teeth, you are not petitioning a judge apart from you; you are recognizing that awareness itself can interrupt and dissolve such currents. The great waters melting away symbolize the endless, mobile stream of thought that can be redirected by a fixed state of consciousness. As the archer’s bow is bent toward you, you are invited to unbend from the belief that threat persists and let the imagined weapon be dissolved by light. The snail melting stands for the mistaken belief that harm endures; permit it to vanish into the nothingness from which it arose. This is a shift from vengeance to the conversion of projected power into presence—your presence—through unwavering revision and faith in I AM as the governing reality of your world.
Practice This Now
Practice: Assume the state of inner authority, revise fear as illusion. Feel it real by repeating, 'I AM dissolves all threat' until peace is undeniable.
