From Hidden Lies to Inner Light
Psalms 58:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalm speaks of inner wrongdoing and the world shaped by it, claiming the wicked begin to go astray and lie from birth. It points to inner dispositions rather than external persons.
Neville's Inner Vision
In Neville's view the verse asks us to observe that what is called wickedness is not a rival in the world but a state of consciousness we entertain. The heart is a field where ideas, fears, and self judgments take root, and the line about being estranged from the womb becomes a symbol for forgetting our divine origin in I AM. When we believe in separation, we measure energy in the earth as if it comes from a separate will, yet we do not belong to that negative state; we are the I AM imagining. The remedy is to reverse the assumption: dwell in a state of truth, integrity, and faithfulness, and revise the picture of others as sinners to one of harmony possible in every act. As you remain in that inner state, the outer world rearranges to mirror your conviction. The exhortation shifts from judgment to awakening, inviting you to align with your unity with divine life through practiced inner seeing.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the feeling of I AM as your constant reality; then revise a moment of perceived wickedness into a scene of truth and faithful action, imagining it already fulfilled.
