Turn your attention inward. In the Neville Goddard sense, the 'they' and the 'dwellings' are your own states of consciousness. When you read 'let death seize upon them' you are invited to allow the old, hostile formations—the fear, resentment, and cruelty you have entertained about life or others—to die. The 'quick descent into hell' is the collapse of the old self that feeds such beliefs, not a literal doom of others. Recognize that 'wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them' as a projection of your own limiting thoughts about reality—your inner weather. The invitation is to dis-identify from that inner weather and allow a new life to emerge, guided by the I AM within. Justice, in this light, is alignment with divine order within, rather than punishment of others. As you consistently choose a higher interpretation, your imagination becomes the instrument by which your external world reorganizes itself to reflect inner harmony.
