Inner Truth, Enemies Cut Off
Psalms 54:5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The line proclaims that divine recompense comes to the speaker’s enemies, and that they shall be cut off by thy truth.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Neville, the Psalm is a map of consciousness. 'Enemies' are not people out there, but the stubborn states inside you that resist your wholeness. 'He shall reward evil unto mine enemies' becomes the law that hostile thoughts and fears return to the sender when you hold a higher state. 'cut them off in thy truth' means severing the old adverse impressions with the light of your true I AM. When you imagine yourself as the living, aware presence (the I AM) and refuse to identify with doubt, you align with a justice that does not punish others but dissolves the very seed of opposition within. Your inner narrative determines outward events; therefore the moment you assume the feeling of complete truth and consistency, the inner adversaries lose their grip. Your consciousness creates the scene, and the scene reflects the inner shift. Practicing this shifts perception from struggle to embodiment of truth, until what appeared as enemies are dissolved by your unwavering inner vibration.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume you are the I AM, and feel thy truth coursing through you until all inner opposition falls away. Imagine a cord of truth extending from you to every imagined enemy and severing it, then rest in the conviction that this inner act is the justice described.
