Psalms 52:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 52 in context

Scripture Focus

7Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
Psalms 52:7

Biblical Context

The verse describes a man who does not rely on God for strength but places his confidence in abundant riches, using them to fortify his wicked ways.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the theater of your mind, remember that your true strength is not the abundance of outward belongings, but the I AM within you. The man who makes wealth his fortress is mistaking the source of power; wealth is but a shadow when life is lived from consciousness rather than the divine awareness. See riches as an outward sign of an inner state, not the source of security. To turn this around, align your self-image with the truth that God is your strength now—in this moment. Your prosperity follows your identification with the I AM, not the bank balance. When you claim, 'I am sustained by God within me,' you release the need to prove yourself through material gain and invite the inner abundance to express itself through circumstance. Practice seeing wealth as a consequence of inner alignment, not a shield against life.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare, 'I am sustained by the I AM within me; wealth flows as a natural expression of this inner alignment.'
