Enduring Goodness Within
Psalms 52:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalmist questions boasting in mischief by a mighty man. He reminds us that the goodness of God endures continually.
Neville's Inner Vision
Ask yourself who speaks in Psalms 52:1: the 'mighty man' is the ego clinging to power, the voice that boasts in mischief to hide its insecurity. Yet the true ruler of your inner world is not that persona but the I AM—the unchanging goodness of God that endures as your present awareness. When you mistake yourself for the creator of mischief, you fracture your awareness from God; when you soften into the realization that the good you seek already endures within you, the boast dies of its own impotence and you awaken to grace. The words do not condemn the world but reframe your identification: you are not the boastful doer but the watchful witness who can revise any thought by returning to God’s constant benevolence. Your life thus becomes a field where grace continually acts, not by force but by alignment. In this inner alignment, the sense of power shifts from outward achievement to the steady, inner rhythm of divine goodness.
Practice This Now
Assume the I AM now as your true self and revise the boastful notion into gratitude for God’s constant goodness. Feel it real for a few breaths.
