Do you hear the mighty God, the LORD, speaking within you? In Neville’s imagination, this is not a distant event but the I AM declaring your state. The earth called from the rising sun to the going down is the day-long movement of attention—your everyday thoughts and sense of self—being summoned to witness the Presence. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined becomes the moment you realize beauty is not elsewhere but within your consciousness, a divine radiance you can dwell in. Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence means the moment you align with the I AM, God manifests as awareness, and inward stillness breaks the tyranny of fear. A fire shall devour before him is the inner purifying fire—the belief, doubt, and limitation that have seemed solid burn away in the light of truth. And it shall be very tempestuous round about him describes the storms of the old self that whirl away when the center is held by the I AM.
