Inner King for All the Earth

Psalms 47:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 47 in context

Scripture Focus

7For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
Psalms 47:7

Biblical Context

God rules the whole earth as king. Praise should be thoughtful and understood, not empty.

Neville's Inner Vision

I tell you the entire earth exists as the stage upon which your consciousness acts out the truth that God is the King. Not a distant sovereign seated beyond the skies, but the I AM within you, the awareness that governs every scene. When the scripture declares that God is king of all the earth, it is you recognizing your own ruling presence, your unopposed authority to imagine and thus to form. The word 'sing' is not vocalizing to a far-off deity, but aligning your feeling with the truth that you reign in awareness. To 'praise with understanding' is to praise with clear perception: you know that what you see outwardly is shaped by your inner state. If fear or lack appears, revise the inner assumption until you experience the embodiment of kingship: you are the ruler of your inner weather, and the outer world follows. The act of worship becomes a practice of conscious reign: feel yourself the king, see it in imagination, yes, and let the understanding of your I AM govern your thoughts, words, and deeds. The world then arises as the realization of your inner sovereignty.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling that you are the King within now; revise any lack by dwelling on your sovereign awareness and affirm, I AM King over my world.
