10Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Psalms 46:9-10

Biblical Context

This passage declares that God ends wars and invites you to be still and know Him. In stillness, the Presence and exaltation of God become your inner reality.

Neville's Inner Vision

Observe that the outer war is only a projection of your inner state. When you allow the I AM to dissolve the imagery of bows, spears, and chariots, you are not commanding Rome to cease but commanding your own mind to align with the truth that God is. The line 'Be still, and know that I am God' is not a command to the world but an inward shift: you stop clinging to agitation and let your awareness rest in the divine I AM. In that stillness, the outer conflicts lose their grip, for you have realized that the kingdom of peace is already within. The 'heathen' and the earth are your own dream of separation, and God exalts within your own consciousness. Practice this by returning to the sense of I AM in the breath, feel the quiet relief that follows, and let the image of conflict collapse into stillness. In that moment you awaken to presence and trust, and peace becomes your natural state.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, breathe into the I AM, and revise a scene of inner conflict by picturing the bow breaking and the chariot burning. Rest in the felt presence of God as the wars dissolve.
