Inner Royal Procession
Psalms 45:12-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalm speaks of the king's daughter being brought forward, adorned and favored. It presents inner wealth and noble adornment as the spiritual reality of the soul.
Neville's Inner Vision
I read Psalm 45:12-14 as a doorway into the inner procession of consciousness. The 'daughter of Tyre' is not someone apart; she is the worldly self, the mind chasing gifts and appearances. When she is there with a gift and sought by the 'rich among the people,' you are being shown that the inner state of worthiness is your own to now claim. The 'king's daughter' is your glorious inner nature, all glorious within, clothed in gold—the radiant idea of yourself that comes from right-standing with I AM, not from outside approval. The ‘raiment of needlework’ teaches that outer life is crafted by the patient, loving work of imagination; the virgins who follow become your disciplined faculties—attention, gratitude, obedience to the inner ruler. This is a scene of royal welcome: you are brought unto the King, not to display wealth but to acknowledge your true sovereignty. Practice not to gain favor, but to realize you already wear the gold and are led by the inner king. As you stay in this consciousness, your world aligns with abundance, virtue, and serene authority.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state: I am the king's daughter, clothed in wrought gold. Feel the inner procession of favor as your own; revise any lack by claiming the royal identity now.
