Scripture Focus

3O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
4Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
Psalms 43:3-4

Biblical Context

The verse asks for light and truth to lead the speaker to a deeper inner sanctuary. It culminates in joy and praise at the altar of God.

Neville's Inner Vision

From the I AM vantage, this psalm is not about seeking distant light, but awakening to the light and truth already resident as awareness. The speaker prays that light and truth rise within and lead him to the holy hill of consciousness, to the tabernacles where God dwells as I AM. When you interpret this through inner sight, you do not beg for God to come; you realize you are the place where light and truth do their work. Light is the perception that never doubts; truth is the consistency of your inner state. As these arise, you ascend within, and the altar of God becomes your exceeding joy. The harp is your praise that vibrates from the sense of I AM—"O God my God"—a declaration of oneness with the divine reality. Your journey is a revision of perception: you assume you are already on that hill and in that tabernacle, and you feel the joy, the gratitude, the music of inner harmony. You do not resist the movement; you affirm your alignment with God, and the outer world becomes the echo of that inner communion.

Practice This Now

Assume you are already on the holy hill and at the altar of God. Feel the light and truth guiding you inward, and let your inner harp rise in joyful praise.
