Neville's Inner Vision
All the foes you hear in Psalms 41:5-9 are not out there, but within your own state of consciousness. The voices who speak evil, who wish your death, and the familiar friend who betrays you are simply the old habits of thought that pretend you are separate from the life that supports you. You can ignore their power by turning your attention to the I AM that you truly are—your present, indivisible awareness. When you assume the end in your imagination—the healing, the protection, the blessedness of your being—the outer scene must resemble your inner declaration. The evil disease they point to is the sign of belief in limitation; you dissolve it by declaring I AM, and no claim of the outside world can override your inner state. The betrayal by a close associate becomes a symbol of the habit you held dear but no longer need. By dwelling in the consciousness that loves and is loved, that sees all as good, you displace every whisper of harm and realize that your reality is God-fashioned and unassailable.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, revise the scene to reflect wholeness now, and softly repeat, I am the I AM; nothing harms me; I am loved and protected.
