Inner Deliverance Psalm 41
Psalms 41:1-13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Psalms 41 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalm blesses one who considers the poor and trusting in God's protection through illness, enemies, and betrayal. It ends in praise for God’s enduring faithfulness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Know this: this psalm speaks not of external foes but of your inner state. When you consider the poor, you activate the mercy of your own awareness and are delivered in time of trouble. The Lord’s preserving hand is your constant self-conception, keeping you alive and blessed on the earth as you align with the I AM. In languishing you are strengthened; the bed of illness becomes a bed of awakening as you invite the mind to rise to its natural health. 'Be merciful unto me' becomes an inward cry for healing of the soul you have separated from love. Voices of fear and betrayal are not facts but appearances to be dissolved by realizing you are always before the face of God. Let mercy raise you, that you may see attackers as figures in your dream corrected by grace. Thus you know You favour me, because my enemies do not triumph; upheld in integrity, I remain before the I AM, blessed forever.
Practice This Now
Try assuming: 'I am preserved and blessed by the I AM.' Then feel that truth as a present sensation of wellness, standing grounded in integrity while any appearance of opposition fades.
