Psalm 4:3 declares that the godly are set apart for God, and that God will hear when they call.
Neville's Inner Vision
Know that the LORD is the I AM within you, the steady awareness that never falters. In the Neville view, 'set apart' speaks of a conscious state you assume and dwell in—not a fact of outward circumstance. When you acknowledge you are the godly one chosen for Himself, you enter a vibration that no doubt can unsettle. Prayer then becomes a tuning, not a plea: you call from a state that already bears the answer. The Lord will hear because you are aligned with the very consciousness that hears. Do not seek permission from without; feel the inner invitation of your own being, and the response rises as a gentle certainty—the inner echo that you have been heard. Persist in the assumption until the sense of separation from the divine dissolves, until the posture of holiness is your natural mode. In that space, present everything that seems to come to you as the voice of your I AM answering from within.
Practice This Now
Practice: Quietly affirm, 'I am set apart as godly; the I AM hears my call.' Feel the inner hearing as a present reality and carry that certainty into the day.
