Psalms 37:9-11

Biblical Context

Psalm 37:9-11 contrasts evildoers’ removal with the meek inheriting the earth, and promises peace for those who wait on the LORD.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Neville, the 'earth' is not geography but a state of consciousness. When you 'wait upon the LORD' you do not beg from the outer scene; you align with the I AM, the unchanging awareness that is already peace. The evildoers are merely a frame of resisting feeling; as you hold your attention on the I AM, that frame dissolves and you see your inner landscape shift. The meek are not a social class but a disposition: humility, patience, and trust in your inner vision. When you choose to dwell in the calm awareness that you are the creator, you 'inherit the earth'—your earth becomes the inner peace you feel and the harmony you perceive in your life. The promise of abundance is the natural overflow of consciousness that has steadied itself in peace; the external scene follows the inner alignment. Practice this by returning to awareness, not trouble; revise any fear into confidence; let the feeling of 'it is done' saturate your being.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes, rest in I AM, and envision you standing on a tranquil earth. Repeat, 'I am inheriting peace now,' and feel the calm power as if it were already yours.
