Inherit The Earth Within

Psalms 37:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 37 in context

Scripture Focus

9For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
Psalms 37:9

Biblical Context

The verse contrasts evildoers who are cut off with those who wait on the LORD, promising an earthly inheritance to those steady in faith.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within your being there is a waiting state in which you live in harmony with the I AM that you truly are. Evildoers are not punished by some external decree; they simply rise and fall in the drama of thought, while you who wait upon the LORD dwell in a fixed awareness that cannot be moved by appearances. The 'earth' you inherit is not a plot of land, but the steady order of your inner world becoming outer form. When you imagine yourself as the I AM—one who is untouched by fear, who knows that all action flows from inner stillness—the conditions of life rearrange themselves to reflect that inner reality. The promise is not for tomorrow but for now: you awaken to abundance by keeping your attention on God within, and the outer scene follows the inward state. This is a law of consciousness: to wait is to align, and alignment births manifestation.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling of one who has inherited the earth—calm, secure, and in possession of abundance. Repeat softly, 'I wait upon the LORD' until that inner state feels real in your body.
