Inner Salvation Here and Now

Psalms 37:39 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 37 in context

Scripture Focus

39But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
Psalms 37:39

Biblical Context

The righteous receive salvation from the LORD and are strengthened in times of trouble. This strength is not external rescue but an inner assurance born of awareness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice the wording as a key to consciousness: the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD. In Neville fashion, I invite you to read this as a present claim of your own awareness. The LORD is not a distant deity but the I AM that you are right now—the unshakable presence that remains when appearances shake. When trouble rises, you are not asked to plead with fate; you are asked to acknowledge the state you already occupy. The 'righteous' are simply the state that chooses alignment with right perception, and salvation is the revival of that state by your awareness. Salvation is the inner net that holds you, the strength that sustains your breath, the steadiness behind your thoughts. Therefore, do not seek rescue outside of you; imagine that the LORD upholds you within, and feel yourself carried through the storm. Practice: assume the feeling of being saved, revise every fear into a declaration that you are kept, and let the sensation of security fill your chest as if you were already saved. In that shift, outer trouble becomes a mere ripple on a still lake of consciousness.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: close your eyes, place your hand on your heart, and repeat, 'The LORD is my salvation; I am kept now.' Feel the truth saturate your chest until it feels real.
