Read Psalms 37 in context

Scripture Focus

30The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.
31The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
Psalms 37:30-31

Biblical Context

The verse paints the righteous as one whose words carry wisdom and judgment. It says God's law sits in the heart, making every step secure.

Neville's Inner Vision

To me, this is not a sermon about others, but a map of the inner state called I AM awareness. The mouth that speaks wisdom and the tongue that talks of judgment are expressions of the state I occupy. When the law of God—the inner principle—takes up residence in the heart, there is no slip in any step, because every move is drawn from that unshakable center. The heart becomes a studio where imagination and law are one; what I imagine with conviction becomes the path I walk. The outward world simply confirms the inner decree. Therefore I keep the inner dialogue ardent: I imagine thoughts that reflect wisdom and discernment, and I revise fear by repeating, 'God's law is in my heart.' In this alignment, I am not swayed by appearances; I am guided by the I AM that is always present and unchanging, and every step follows from that truth.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: In the next moment, close your eyes and assume the I AM state as your own; mentally repeat, 'God's law is in my heart; my steps are sure.' Then feel that steadiness as if it's already true, and let that feeling guide your next choice.
