Read Psalms 37 in context

Scripture Focus

21The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
22For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
Psalms 37:21-22

Biblical Context

The wicked borrow and do not repay, while the righteous show mercy and give; those blessed inherit the earth, and the cursed are cut off.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this reading, the terms wicked and righteous are inner states of consciousness. The 'wicked' represents a mind fixed in fear, scarcity, and debt toward life; the 'righteous' is a mind that freely lends energy, mercy, and generosity. The 'earth' is the outer world that follows your dominant inner state. When you align with the I AM and dwell in mercy and generosity, abundance flows and you inherit your environment. Lack and delay arise when the inner note resists the flow. Therefore, revise any memory of debt or unmet payback, forgive what is owed in your mind, and assume the feeling of abundance now. The I AM within you is both lender and receiver; through mercy you are sustained, and through mercy you inherit the earth. The law is simple: cultivate a merciful, generous inner state and your outward world will reflect that inheritance as surely as day follows dawn.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and declare, 'I am the merciful I AM, giving and receiving as one.' Feel the relief in your body and dwell in the sense of abundant provision as your outer world begins to respond.
