Read Psalms 37 in context

Scripture Focus

18The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
Psalms 37:18

Biblical Context

God knows the days of the upright, and their inheritance endures forever.

Neville's Inner Vision

From this Psalm I speak to you as the I AM within you. The LORD is the awareness you call forth; the upright is the state of consciousness you choose to inhabit. When you dwell there, the days you live are not scattered events but movements of the mind that knows its own treasure. Providence and guidance then arise as the natural flow of that certainty, not as external whims. God’s knowledge of the upright is simply the truth that your own consciousness knows what it is—and in that knowing your inheritance appears as lasting reality. Covenant loyalty becomes unwavering faith in the inner law: stay with the truth even when appearances suggest delay. The Kingdom of God is not coming someday; it is the realization you live now as you persist in the awareness that you are already blessed, and therefore your life unfolds in accord with that fact. The inheritance is eternal because it is the unchanging possession of the I AM itself, secured by your fidelity to the truth you choose to dwell in.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare, 'I am the upright, known by God, inheriting everlasting life now,' then linger in that state and feel gratitude as if it is already real.
