Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalm requests ongoing mercy for those who know God. It also asks for righteousness to rest upon the upright in heart.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, observe that the Psalmist pleads not with a distant deity but with the living I AM within you. 'Continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee' is an invitation to persist in the consciousness that already knows God. Your awareness is the ground of mercy; when you perceive yourself as the one knowing God, you magnetize continuity—the sense that mercy never stops, that your inner weather remains favorable. 'Thy righteousness to the upright in heart' translates as the alignment of your inner state—uprightness, integrity—becoming your outer experience as you dwell in the I AM. Do not seek mercy from without; assume it as your daily condition of consciousness, and righteousness will follow as a natural expression of that state. The verse names two aspects of your inner kingdom: knowing and upright heart. When you maintain the awareness of I AM lovingkindness toward the one who knows, you also affirm the righteousness that your heart upholds. The world changes to reflect the inner conviction you hold about yourself.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state: I AM lovingkindness is continuous toward me; I am upright in heart. Feel it as real now.
