Biblical Context
The verse proclaims that those who revere the LORD will lack nothing; inner reverence aligns you with divine sufficiency.
Neville's Inner Vision
To fear the LORD is not to tremble before a distant judge, but to dwell in the consciousness of the I AM—the inner Lord who never abandons you. The 'saints' are those who cultivate that inner sight, who awake each day and say, in effect, 'I am with and as the Lord within me.' When you inhabit that awareness, there is no want, for God as your awareness is complete sufficiency. The world then mirrors your inner state: you do not chase provisions; you allow them to be present as your natural expression. The verse invites you to use imagination as your altar: suspend disbelief about lack and feel your life as fully provided. If you revise any lack by stating, 'I fear the LORD' as reverence for presence, you dissolve separation and unleash the current of supply. Your job is simply to maintain the state; the external events adjust to reflect it. This is the practical translation of the timeless truth: your inner alignment with the I AM announces manifest abundance.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and dwell in the I AM within; imagine the sensation of being perfectly provided, and say, 'I fear the LORD' as reverence for presence until the feeling of lack dissolves.
