Neville's Inner Vision
To look unto Him is to return to the I AM within, the living consciousness that precedes form. The lightening of their faces and the removal of shame signal the shift of state from fear to awareness. In this psalm the 'poor man' cries not to a distant deity but to the sense of self that is complete, immutable, and eternally heard. When you refuse to identify with lack and consistently dwell in the feeling of being already supplied, the inner air changes; you discover that the Lord's hearing is your own awareness listening to itself. The rescue from 'all his troubles' is the reorientation of consciousness: troubles exist only as thoughts until you anchor them in the reality of I AM. Your imagination acts as the conduit through which this inner reality manifests outwardly: the light on the face is the visible sign of a mind at rest in its God-given perception. Trust in this inner economy, and the appearance of relief follows as surely as day follows dawn.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, affirm 'I AM healed now' and see yourself looking to the inner Light; dwell in the feeling of deliverance until it is so in your body and life.
