Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Psalm 34 speaks of seeking the Lord, being heard, and deliverance from fears through trust and righteous living.
Neville's Inner Vision
All of Psalm 34 unfolds as a map of the inner state you may live as real. When you say, I sought the Lord, and he heard me, you are not petitioning a distant power; you are acknowledging the I AM that you are. The moment you turn your attention to that divine awareness, fear loosens its grip and you are delivered from every trouble because the inner angel is the activity of God in mind encamping round about you. The verses that tell of lighted faces and no shame describe the soul that sees through faith in the one presence; to taste and see the Lord is good becomes the felt reality of your tasting the good here and now. The Lord is near to the broken heart, and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit, speaks of inner healing and willingness to be instructed by truth within. Do not seek external remedy; revise your situation in imagination until it registers as already accomplished. Your cry is heard because your cry is belief turned to awareness. The righteous prospers as consciousness, and deliverance becomes your daily experience.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume you are already delivered, and feel the I AM surrounding you with safety. Repeat: 'I am heard; I am delivered; there is no fear I cannot rise above.'
