I Am Heard, Fear Removed

Psalms 34:4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 34 in context

Scripture Focus

4I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Psalms 34:4

Biblical Context

If you earnestly seek the Lord, He listens and delivers you from all your fears.

Neville's Inner Vision

I do not seek a distant deity; I awaken to the I AM within, calling it the Lord. When I turn my attention inward, I am heard by the immediacy of awareness. The fear I wore as a garment melts in the heat of realized presence, for fear is but a thought given weight by attention. To seek, in this sense, is to shift states, not chase a person or event. By resting in the conviction that the inner state is heard, I catalyze the response the psalmist names: relief, release, deliverance. The outer trouble is a reflection of an inner posture; when I identify with the almighty I AM, I am no longer at the mercy of fear. My perception changes, and what I once dreaded appears as a dream dissolving in light. Practically, I choose the state of being heard and delivered, and allow the feeling to confirm it as real. The imagination, rightly directed, draws the promised outcome into present experience.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, close your eyes, and declare, 'I am heard by the Lord within me; I am delivered from all fear.' Feel the relief as present reality, and carry that feeling into your day.
