Psalms 34:2-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalm centers on humble reliance on God, promising deliverance from fear and trouble. It portrays the divine presence surrounding those who fear Him and hearing their cry.
Neville's Inner Vision
From the Neville perspective, Psalm 34:2-7 becomes a manual for the state you inhabit. 'My soul shall boast in the LORD' is the I AM boasting as the reality you live from. The 'humble' are those who cease arguing with appearances and return their attention to the inner LORD within; when you elevate that awareness, others hear and are glad because they glimpse your inner light. 'O magnify the LORD with me' means magnify your own consciousness; declare with me that the one power is within you. 'I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears' translates to: when you seek the LORD within, your fears are undone by the lived reality of security. 'They looked unto him, and were lightened' suggests that as you fix your inner gaze on the radiance of your true self, fear and shame fade. 'This poor man cried' becomes the cry for security; the answer is the awareness that you are heard and saved by the higher Self, the angel of the LORD encamping round about you. Practically, assume the fulfilled state now, feel it as real, and watch fear dissolve.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and say 'I AM' as the LORD within. Hold the feeling of deliverance until fear is revised as a memory.
