Biblical Context
Psalm 34:15-17 states that the Lord watches the righteous, hears their cries, opposes evil, and delivers them from trouble.
Neville's Inner Vision
Whenever you claim to be the righteous, you are lifting your consciousness into the seat where God I AM watches and listens. The eyes that Psalm 34:15 speaks of are not distant stars but your own awareness fixed on the state you have chosen. When you dwell in that state—beloved, the 'cry' you utter is not a petition to a distant deity but your imagination sharpening attention and intention—your cry awakens a response in your inner atmosphere. The Lord's face against evil is the natural recoil of a consciousness that refuses to identify with it; in other words, by accepting your right-standing, you displace the memory of calamity from your earth. The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles: this 'deliverance' is the rearrangement of appearances as you abide in the conviction that you are already the one heard. Do not seek an outside rescue; embody, right now, the I AM that feels heard and untroubled, and the outer world follows suit.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, assume you are the righteous now, feel the Lord's ears listening to your cry, and let relief and aligned circumstances flood your chest.
