Read Psalms 3 in context

Scripture Focus

7Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
Psalms 3:7

Biblical Context

The psalmist cries to God to arise and save him, declaring that divine power has already felled his enemies.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Neville's method, Psalm 3:7 is a blueprint for inner victory. 'Arise' is the call of your awareness to awaken, for God is not an external savior but the I AM that you are. The 'enemies' are fears, doubts, and false identities you have entertained; when you affirm the I AM has risen in you, those powers shrink and are exposed as illusions. The imagery of striking and breaking represents the collapse of thoughts and beliefs that have claimed authority over you. Salvation becomes a present, felt state—not a future event—since you are the ground of your own reality, the I AM that generates every scene you experience. Imagination creates this new state; by assuming its truth, revising what you previously accepted as real, you rewrite your life. The verse invites you to practice with unwavering inner certainty: claim that you are saved by the I AM, and allow the apparent adversaries to dissolve in the light of your awakened consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling that the I AM has already arisen in you now; silently revise any belief of threat by affirming, 'I am the I AM; these enemies have no power over me.'
