Inner Worship of the I AM
Psalms 29:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalm invites you to acknowledge God’s majesty and to offer Him glory and strength. It also calls you to worship by living in the beauty of holiness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine that the words are not addressed to some distant God, but to the I AM you are. The mighty are the chosen states of consciousness you inhabit; to give glory and strength is to consent to the divine power housed in you. When you acknowledge that the I AM in you is the source of all glory, you stop seeking from outside and begin commanding from within. The second line sharpens this: to give the glory due to his name is to align your inner names with reality—to adopt a worship that is not ritual but recognition of your inherent holiness. Worship in the beauty of holiness becomes the atmosphere in which you dwell: thoughts that honor God, feelings that reflect pristine order, and a quiet sense of being held by the divine presence. The Psalm becomes a manual for consciousness: you do not petition for God to come; you realize that you are the vessel through which divine glory flows, and the world responds in harmony with that inner worship.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume the I AM as your center, and say aloud or mentally 'I am the glory and strength of God within me'; hold the feeling until it feels real.
