Biblical Context
Psalm 29:1 invites the mighty to give glory and strength to the LORD. It presents divine worthiness as a conscious act arising from inner state.
Neville's Inner Vision
To me, the mighty are not separate beings stamped with power by outside decree; they are states of consciousness that rise when you believe the LORD—the I AM—dwells in you as glory and strength. The call 'Give unto the LORD' is a command to return attention to the Source within, to acknowledge that the very power that writes worlds is your own awareness. When you name glory and strength, you are not flattering a distant deity but qualifying your inner atmosphere. If you feel weak, you revise: imagine that the sense of might you seek is already resident as your I AM. The 'mighty' you address becomes the vibrational state you inhabit: bold, sure, radiant. As you hold that state, the world rearranges to reflect it; obligations become opportunities, fear dissolves into quiet power, and worship becomes inner recognition rather than ritual performance. In this inner exchange, you are giving back to the LORD the exclusive attention your consciousness affords.
Practice This Now
Assume the state now: you are the I AM; declare you give unto the LORD glory and strength and feel it as already true in this moment.
